Mental Health Awareness Week

Y thema ar gyfer wythnos Ymwybyddiaeth Iechyd Meddwl 2023 yw Gorbryder.

Mae gorbryder yn emosiwn dynol pwysig ond, mewn rhai amgylchiadau, gall fynd allan o reolaeth a dod yn broblem iechyd meddwl.

Gall llawer o bethau gwahanol gyfrannu at deimladau o orbryder, yn cynnwys arholiadau, perthnasoedd, swydd newydd, dêt neu newid mawr mewn bywyd. Mae hefyd yn emosiwn y mae pobl yn aml yn ei deimlo mewn cysylltiad ag arian a ddim gallu cwrdd ag anghenion sylfaenol bywyd.

Gorbryder hefyd yw un o'r problemau iechyd meddwl mwyaf cyffredin y mae pobl yn ei wynebu. Yn ôl arolwg a gynhaliwyd gennym yn ddiweddar, mae chwarter o oedolion yn teimlo mor bryderus fel ei fod yn eu hatal rhag gwneud y pethau maent eisiau eu gwneud rhywfaint o’r amser neu drwy'r amser. Mae chwech ym mhob deg oedolyn yn teimlo fel hyn o leiaf weithiau.

Y newyddion da yw bod posib gwneud gorbryder yn haws i’w reoli. Drwy ganolbwyntio ar orbryder ar gyfer Wythnos Ymwybyddiaeth Iechyd Meddwl 2023, rydym am wella dealltwriaeth y cyhoedd o orbryder a rhannu rhai o’r pethau a all helpu i’w atal rhag dod yn broblem. Rydym hefyd eisiau parhau â'r galw am newid - i wneud yn siŵr bod gwella iechyd meddwl yn flaenoriaeth allweddol i'r llywodraeth a'n cymdeithas.
